They said they would call when room was ready but they never did. Pros: beautiful lobby, brand new rooms, lots of places to eat, clean smokeless casino. The cost for staying there is outrageous but we wanted to treat ourselves and gave it a try. Your best bet for an enjoyable time at a casino is taking the trip to Delaware, NJ, PA. In Maryland, Maryland Live, Horseshoe, and now MGM have done nothing but show how absolutely greedy they are. I was there on a Monday morning and did not have to pay, but I have heard it is expensive in the evenings and weekends. Oh, I have also heard that you have to pay for parking too. I was smart enough not to throw away any money there. I understand that casinos need to make money too, but to see the level of greed MGM has for the area, in my opinion, is appauling. I was so disappointed to see the dealers talking amunst themselves, joking as a player 7'd out. I enjoy playing caps and even watching the game. I stood around for about 2 hours and watched literally everyone playing the games just throw away their money. Beautiful casino if you have an unlimited bankroll. I wanted to see what all the hype was about. So I made it a point to stop by about 2 weeks after it opened. I too was curious considering what we had to choose from, Marland Live and Horseshoe. Everyone I talked to was very excited to hear about the new casino opening up at the National Harbor in Marland.
